Jibran Munaver is a qualified and experienced Ocularist and Anaplastologist with over 12 years’ of experience in making and fitting hand crafted artificial eyes. He has done his training with Artificial Eye Services in International Prosthetic Eye Center Hyderabad, India. He has also worked with ocularists from across India and abroad to gain and share his experiences.
He has worked as Consultant Clinical Ocularist at Narayana Nethralaya for a tenure of 6 years and he is a clinical Anaplastologist at De Cure Center since 2016. He is actively serving the patients from all over India and international patients too.
He is a founding member of the Ocularist Society of India and regularly presented at conferences in UAE, Bahrain and India for various Ocularist’s Associations. Jibran is continuously developing his techniques and researching new technology for the advancement of Ocularistry.
His knowledge expertise is widely recognized among top eye care practitioners around India and overseas which is why he even lends his services to various organizations across the globe.

Typically, a customized artificial eyelasts about 5 years before it needs to be replaced. Tissue changes in the socket and breakdown of the acrylic are the primary reasons for replacement. Due to anatomical growth, artificial eye in children tend to last 2-3 years before requiring replacement.
We recommend a polish once in every 6-8 months for most patients. This visit allows us to remove the built-up protein, bacteria and scratches on the surface. We also examine the fit of the prosthesis and the condition of your eye socket and eyelids.
